Jetspedia is an independent online flight booking platform operated under the brand name Jetspedia and managed by Plane to Paradise LLC, a Pennsylvania-registered company (Entity Number: 7570169). We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline. All bookings processed through Jetspedia are issued by licensed third-party travel suppliers with whom we maintain formal agreements.

We do not influence or determine airline baggage policies. All baggage allowances, inclusions, exclusions, and related fees are defined solely by the carrier operating the flight. Jetspedia displays these terms during the booking process, based on information made available by our supplier partners.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Baggage entitlements differ by airline, route, and fare type. However, the general industry standard for a checked bag is:

Weight: up to 50 lbs (23 kg)

Size: combined dimensions of up to 62 linear inches (158 cm)

Any baggage exceeding these limits may incur additional charges, which are assessed and collected by the airline directly.

Carry-On Baggage Guidelines

Carry-on baggage allowances also vary by carrier and fare class. Many airlines allow a standard carry-on item and a personal item, while others—particularly low-cost or basic economy options—may permit only a personal item.

Standard carry-on dimensions are typically up to 22 x 14 x 9 inches (56 x 36 x 23 cm)

Weight limits may range from 15 to 22 lbs (7 to 10 kg), depending on the airline

Personal items must fit under the seat in front of you (e.g., handbag, laptop bag, small backpack)

All specific inclusions will be shown at the time of booking based on fare type and carrier terms.

Jetspedia Optional Baggage Assistance

If a customer wishes to carry additional baggage beyond what is included in their selected fare, Jetspedia offers a paid baggage coordination service at the time of or after booking.

Our optional service fee applies as follows:

For domestic low-cost carriers: $70 per checked bag (up to 50 lbs) one direction (Single Carrier)

For domestic full-service carriers: $100 per checked bag (up to 50 lbs) one direction (Single Carrier)

For international flights: $175 per checked bag (up to 50 lbs) one direction (Single Carrier)

These fees cover Jetspedia’s administrative costs to facilitate the baggage request with the travel supplier. The actual baggage charges may differ if booked directly through the airline. Customers who wish to avoid this fee are encouraged to manage their baggage directly with the carrier.

User Responsibility

As the traveler, it is your responsibility to:

A) Review and understand baggage terms during the booking process
B) Confirm final baggage rules with the operating carrier before departure
C) Ensure baggage meets airline weight and size criteria
D) Pay any excess baggage fees charged at the airport
E) Address all baggage claims (delay, loss, or damage) with the airline directly

Jetspedia will not be responsible for disputes arising from a customer’s failure to read or understand baggage conditions.

We strongly recommend consumers to visit operating carrier's official site to avoid any future confusion related to its baggage policy.

Carrier Responsibility and Limitations

A) All baggage handling, restrictions, and conditions are determined and enforced by the operating airline.
B) Any changes to baggage policies after ticket issuance are under the carrier’s control.
C) In multi-carrier itineraries, each segment may follow different baggage rules.

Jetspedia cannot guarantee uniform baggage terms across such itineraries.

Jetspedia does not represent any airline and publish fare and baggage information as received from our ticketing partners and suppliers.

All displayed prices and policies, including those related to baggage, are subject to change until the booking is confirmed. Fare rules, baggage inclusions, refundability, and restrictions are fully dictated by the chosen fare and are clearly presented during the booking process.
